Build a supportive atmosphere, which will help the disabled veterans resume their normal lives as quickly as possible.

Foster the full reintegration of the veterans into society by establishing sports & rehabilitation centers, offering a comprehensive range of services.

By setting challenges and daily targets, both physical and mental, it aims to restore a better quality of life.

Safeguard their legal rights and promote their interests through legislation or economic and social measures.

Beit Halochem Canada’s solidarity mission visited Israel between May 3-13.

Led by President of the organization Toby Feldberg and her husband Saul, the mission members took part in inspiring encounters with members of Beit Halochem in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and Haifa, met with Government officials, toured the country north through south visiting army bases, took part in Memorial Day ceremonies at Tel Aviv’s Beit Halochem and at the Latrun Tank Corps Memorial together with Amnon Sharon, former tank corps reserves company commander who spent 8 months in Syrian captivity during the 1973 Yom Kippur War.

One of the many highlights of the visit was taking part in the Independence Day Opening Ceremony at Mt. Herzl in Jerusalem.
