Inaugural 5Towns 5K Run/Walk held in North Woodmere Park
On April 18, 2010 North Woodmere Park the Friends of Israel Disabled Veterans held the inaugural 5Towns 5K Run/Walk in support of Beit Halochem rehabilitation centers in Israel. The goal of this event was to publicize the great work that Beit Halochem does and to raise funds. |

Construction of the new Beit Halochem Beersheva
Beit Halochem Beersheva's construction is well underway and will hopefully be completed as scheduled some time in late summer of 2010. It will serve the hundreds of disabled veterans living in the south of Israel.
