Dear Friends of the "Lubinsky Fund"
Thanks to your generous response and the widespread activities of the Zahal Disabled Veterans Organization, I have this year received a scholarship for the sum of 6,000 Shekels.
I served in Zahal as a squad commander of an intelligence unit whose responsibility is to collect intelligence information in the areas of Judea and Samaria, Lebanon, and the Golan Heights. During operational activities in Lebanon in December 1999, I was hit twice from the shells of a missile, which was launched towards me and fortunately missed. The first time I luckily stayed safe and sound, but on the second time I was not as lucky and suffered an injury in my hand which forced me to be honorably discharged so I could go through a proper rehabilitation process.
These days I am hard at work, studying for my final exams as a CPA in Israel, after four years of studying accounting and business at the Rishon Lezion Business College.
I would like to thank you for the support and the warm hugs which you bestow on me and my disabled friends during the academic rehabilitation process we go through. Your donation was of much help to me from the start of my academic studies and until now, when I am standing at the door of my new office at the biggest accounting firm in Israel.
I am proud to be a member of an organization in which people, such as yourselves and many others, assist in achieving the goals, and in marching us, the Zahal disabled, forward. The assistance and contributions during the academic rehabilitation process are very valuable and important in promising our futures. I am sure you will continue on in this path in the following years.
Sincerely,
Tal Azoz
