The Zahal Disabled Veterans Fund and the family of the Zahal Disabled Veterans Organization are saddened by the passing away of Raya Weintraub, a true friend, supporter and generous donor for over 40 years and wish to express their sincere condolences to the Weintraub family.Raya was one of the founding fathers of "Keren Mishpahot Hagiborim" in Sydney and Melbourne, Australia a charity established to raise funds for the benefit of Zahal Disabled Veterans. Her vision and enthusiasm paved the way and these Friends Organizations continue to be a thriving and active source of support for Israel's Disabled Veterans. She shall be missed by all who knew and loved her.
